ジャズ・フュージョン界を代表するサックス・プレイヤーのGrover Washington, Jr.と、"Ain't No Sunshine"、"Lovely Day"などのヒットで知られるソウル・シンガーBill Withersの2人によって'81年にリリースされた"Just the Two of Us"。
邦題で「クリスタルの恋人たち」と名付けられたこの曲は、「2人だけで、やればできるさ」とロマンティックな愛を歌った大人のラブ・ソング。
全米シングル・チャート最高2位を記録し、この記録はGrover Washington, Jr.の全シングルの中で最高位となり、Bill Withersにとっては同チャート1位を記録した"Learn on Me"に次ぐ記録。
また'81年のビルボード年間シングル・チャートでも18位を記録など、時代を創ったと言っても過言ではない'80年代クラシック。
